About me

Let me introduce myself, my name is Annapina and I have recently moved to England from my home soil in the south of Italy. I am from a small village surrounded by fresh food. My home village is on the outskirts of Naples, which is well known for being the home of pizza. But not the pizza you can find in England, the pizza you can eat and still feel light, with a lot less calories, and tastes great! Which I will show you how to cook!!

My passion is food. I love to cook, I love to prepare, I love to eat, I love to taste, smell and touch food, and it is important to me that I can do this whilst being healthy, after all we all want to look good, feel good, live long and be happy. My inspiration for writing creating this blog comes from my experience since living in England.

What I found when moving here, was that it is very different environment and culture to what I have experienced before, and that food was to a lot of people, a necessity rather than a joy. And I want to bring some of the joy I get from cooking into your lives and spark some passion for food!

Hi I’m a fan of the hairy bikers and would like to say that your website looks amazing and I’m looking forward to trying your recipes. I would like to start eat healthier this year so that I can lose weight, but in the past I have thought that eating healthy meant eating boring foods. Your recipes have given me ideas that I could eat healthier and still enjoy my food. Your website is proof that exciting foods and healthy eating can go hand in hand.
